It allows a person to appear before a commissioned notary public remotely.
Electronic notarizations are legally binding and recognized by the state of Texas.
What you’ll need: A valid (unexpired) government or state-issued picture ID (i.e driver’s license, passport, state identification card). A smartphone, tablet or computer with speakers, camera and microphone.
The last four digits of your SSN.
Steps to follow:

Go to your email for instructions on uploading your documents.
You’ll receive an invitation via email or text message to your remote notarization session.
Click on your session link to create an account with Notarize/Proof and follow the steps to upload your documents.
Review your documents, verify your identity and join your notary for the video call on the Notarize/Proof platform.
Mobile Notary Appointment:
Available in Travis, Williamson and Burnet counties.
Our team will meet you at a location of your choice.
